Sukkah is a nomadic Jewish tradition of building a transitional home. Traditionally, every year on the Jewish holiday of Sukkot (usually celebrated around the month of October), a temporary home is built. For my Sukkah installation, this alternative ‘home’ structure was constructed of palm trees, wood, plastic and featured audio clips of nature sounds.
